Before heading over to Chris' dad's house on Christmas Eve we always have to make sure things are ready for the man in the red suit. We don't get home until late on Christmas Eve and the girls always fall asleep on the 45 minute drive home. The girls are finally at the age that they can pour the milk and get the cookies out all by their selves. Every year Santa gets chocolate milk and chocolate chip cookies and this year he even got sugar cookies shaped as bears.
After putting out cookies and milk the girls go and sprinkle reindeer food in the yard so we are sure the reindeer will find our house and we hang our special key on the door so Santa can get in. Neither one of the houses we have lived in have had a fireplace so having a special key insures the girls that Santa will get in! I love Christmas with my girls!!
