Girls well baby visits...

Both the girls had their well baby visits yesterday and things look great for both of them.

Kiley is weighing in at 19 lbs 9 oz and 28.5 in long, she is about 50-75 % We didn't really have any questions or concerns for the Dr other then how do we wean from the bottle? Seems like a silly questions for a second child but Hailey took herself off the bottle at 9 months and Kiley seems to still really like her bottle. Just goes to show that no 2 kids are the same. Dr Henderson said not to worry about starting to wean her right now. I wanted Kiley to get her flu shot but the peds office is out of them and she is to young to take the flu mist, I opted to bypass the H1N1 shot this year. Dr Henderson thinks that Ki-Mo will be an early walker, makes me tired just thinking about it. She is so different then Hailey. Kiley is into EVERYTHING the other night Chris and I sat in the living room and watched Kiley crawl all the way into the kitchen, Hailey never would go into a room that we weren't in. We also found her in the bathroom with her hand in, yes you guessed it the TOILET-holy cow where did this girl come from! We joke all the time that if she was our first she would have been our last. Kiley Maureen you truly are our wild child, you have no fear to new things or new surroundings. Everyday is a new adventure with you!!!

Hailey Lauren weighed in at 34 lbs and was 38.25 in, Dr Henderson told Chris that Hailey was tall, which makes me laugh because she seems really little. We had a few concerns with Hailey one was her very dry skin. It seems like no matter how much lotion we put on her she is so dry and she is constantly itching, poor baby. So Dr Henderson said to start using creams on her and that the eczema should get better. We also had a concern with her neck, sometimes when Hailey turns her head towards the right she will stop in her tracks and start screaming that her neck hurts. We rub it and then it seems to get better. Dr Henderson didn't have any real concerns since Hailey had never been in an accident or anything, but she did want to do a x-ray of her cervical spine just to be sure all was ok. They wouldn't let Chris go back in the room with Hailey, so off she went by herself like such a big girl. They told Chris that she was their best patient so far, she never cried or anything and they even took her earrings out and put them back in. Dr Henderson called me a few hours later letting me know that the results came back just fine. We just need to watch as to if it happens more often or if the pain starts to go down her arm or if her arm gets tingly. Hailey couldn't get a flu shot either, one because well they are out of them and she can't have the flu mist because of the seasonal asthma she gets :(

I can't believe how quickly my girls are growing, its so hard to think that this time last year Kiley was in my belly and Hailey still looked like a toddler!

Acting young...

A few weeks ago we all went out for Natalie's Bachelorette party, I haven't been out since...well...um...maybe my Bachelorette party! HA! We went out to eat at the Spaghetti Factory and then we went to Howl at the moon. I had never been to Howl before but it was lots of fun, its a piano bar, not a hip hop bar.

Dinner was so yummy. Myself, Kate and Natalie all ordered different things and shared all of our food, that's the best way to eat, don't ya think!

We tried to get people to buy some of Natalie's candy necklace but only one person did and he only paid $1, it was fun anyways though!

I didn't get home until 4 in the morning, I don't know what I was thinking acting young again :) I had lots fun being out on the town again!

My good computer isn't fixed yet, the hubby is still working on it but my lab top is working!!! So I can still blog and I'm so happy because I have lots to say!!!!!

I'm sad

I'm not going to be able to blog for a little while because my computer at home is broke, SO until the hubby figures out how to fix it I can't put up any pics. I have so many cute pics of the girls too! We have been very busy at the Hansen house, Natalie got married on Sat, we carved pumpkins on Sunday and now Halloween this weekend. I hope my computer gets fixed soon or you guys will be on over load looking at all the pics I have. I hope everyone had a great weekend, I will up date later this week about the girls Dr's appt.

Fall Program

Hailey had her fall program at school and it was so cute, all week she had been singing random words of songs, so I really had no idea what she would sing at the program. They sang 2 songs and said 1 Bible verse. One of the songs they sang was six little ducks, the best part of that song was when they "put their feathers on their back" you'll see in the pic below what I'm talking about. She did such a great job and wasn't shy at all!!! After they sang we went to her class and seen some of her art work. I couldn't be happier with the daycare her and Kiley go to, the teachers are great and I love how much Hailey learns!!

Hailey all dolled up before we left!
Her class, the little girl next to Hailey in the purple is Emery, Hailey says she is her best friend. Their teachers say that they are always together and Emery's mom said Emery talks about Hailey all the time at home! I love that they are such good friends!!

With their feathers on their back!!!!!

That is the same face the frog she colored was making. Silly girl!!!

My favorite time of year

I love this time of year. Leaves changing color, trips to the pumpkin patch, hot cider, football on tv, jeans and sweatshirts and chili in the crock pot. What sounds better then that!

We made our annual trip to Beasley's Apple Fest last weekend and we had a blast. We were missing Kate, Cory, Mia, Marley and my dad but we still had lots of fun. It was Kiley, Cole and Keira's first trip to the pumpkin patch.

We took a hayride out to the patch and picked out the "great pumpkin Charley Brown" ha!

We also took this time to get some great pics

It was a cool day so we could really enjoy the hayride this year 1 because it wasn't 80 degrees like last year and 2 it was only us and 1 other family.

Hailey was so excited to get her face painted and it turned out really cute too!!!

It was a great fall day spent with family, I'm already looking forward to next year!!!!!

Not many pics of Keira she slept most of the time!!
