First haircut

Yes you read that right, Kiley got her first haircut on Saturday! Yes at 22 months old she FINALLY had enough hair to get a trim! She did great while getting her hair cut, I was really nervous because she had an ear infection and was super-duper whinny. I hope this trim will help her hair grow faster and thicker.

30 years of marriage

On November 22 my parents will be celebrating 30 years of marriage! That seems just crazy to me, I guess because Chris and I have only been married for 5 years.
On Friday all of the "big kids" took my parents out to a place called Dave and Busters. We had a great dinner full of lots of conversation and laughs. It seemed weird to be out with just my brothers and sisters and none of the little kids. After dinner we all played lots of games, it was so much fun to play a bunch of arcade games. My favorite part of the night was watching my Dad, brothers and husband run around and act like they were 10 again!

Mom and Dad, you guys have set a great example of what a marriage should be. You guys share so much love and laughs. We love you guys!!

Shutterfly...

Every year for the last 4 years I have used Shutterfly to make our Christmas cards and let me tell you they NEVER disappoint. I love how personal you can make them with 1-4 or more pictures.

It's a great way to share pictures of your family without having to spend lots of money on cards. Shutterfly always has great discounts going on like right now they have 20% percent off holiday cards and free shipping if you spend $30!!! You can shop for cards here. I love the new 2010 designs! You can find my favorites for this year here, here, and here!!!

The other thing I love to do around the holidays on Shutterfly is make calendars. I love the idea of using all my pictures from the past year and being able to keep it. My calendars also serve as a memory book! I give these out as gifts for the grandparents. You can shop the calendars here. They have so many different types, wall calendars, desk calendars or even poster size.

One of my wish list items is a big canvas! We recently had some family pictures taken so I think now is a great time to purchase a canvas. You can check out all the wall art here.

I have yet to be disappoint with anything I do on Shutterfly and I know I will be using them for many, many more things in the future!

Halloween 2010

This is year our town did Trick or Treating on October 30 instead of the 31, I guess because the 31 was on a Sunday! It worked out really well for us because we were able to trick or treat on Saturday and enjoy the Free for Fall at our church on Sunday!

Kiley Mo dressed as a beautiful love bug butterfly! Hailey wore this costume her 2nd and 3rd Halloween, I'm a little sick of seeing it but didn't want to buy Kiley a costume when this one fit her just fine. Needless to say we will NOT be wearing this again next year :)

Hailey the pretty lady bug! Before Halloween when I would ask Hailey what she wanted to be she would tell me Snow White, so I was sure we would have Snow White! When I took Hailey to Party City I told her she could pick out whatever costume she wanted and ladybug it was! I think this costume is VERY cute but it was made SO cheap, Kiley won't be wearing this next year either because the wings fell apart :(
My little insects!

Our church had a Free for Fall on Halloween, it was a festival that had lots of game stations set up and bounce houses, along with hot dogs, chips, sodas and cookies. The kids wore their costumes and collected more candy from all the game stations.

One of the Dr's I work for gave me this adorable Kitty costume it is a size 2T/3T and Hailey fit in it! I was really happy that she fit in it since the ladybug had seen better days :) She looks so stinkin' cute in this costume

This is Hailey with her best friend Emery, we are said to say that Emery is moving to Maryland in a few weeks :( We are going to miss the Ancarrow family LOTS! Emery and Hailey are the same age and Emery's little sister Reece is the same age as Kiley. We have loved spending time with them lately.

Kiley and Reece!

Carving Pumpkins

Every year I look forward to carving pumpkins with the girls and then in the middle of carving I realize Chris and I are the ones doing all the work and the girls are off playing!!! Neither one of them wanted anything to do with the "guts" and they can't use a knife so Chris and I cleaned the pumpkins out and then did the carving. I did give the girls their baby pumpkins and let them color with markers, which they seemed to enjoy for about, oh 5 minutes :)

Hailey was very excited to see the finished product of Mikey and Minnie and I must say they turned out REALLY cute!!!!

Maybe next year they will be into the "guts" I remember that being the best part of pumpkin carving!!

Chuck E Cheese

On October 8 we went to Chuck E Cheese for my nephew Marley's 8th birthday party. I will have to admit I was not excited about going to Chuck E Cheese on a Friday night. All I could think is how super crazy busy it was gonna be BUT much to my surprise it wasn't very busy at all :) The weather was so nice out that evening I think most people were outside enjoying it.

This was the first time our girls had been to Chuck E Cheese and lets just say they LOVED it!!! What isn't to love about that place, except all the germs!

And the birthday boy...well he also LOVED every minute of it.
