Happy Easter

Easter was weird for me this year.  It was the first year in I don't know how long we didn't all go to my mom and dad's for a cookout and Easter egg hunt.  My mom was driving home from my Aunt's surprise 40th birthday party and the weather was cold.

The girls woke up early to look for the eggs the bunny left for them and to find their baskets.  The girls got lots of goodies and candy they are still trying to eat.

After our Easter fun we headed to church and then came home to cook Easter dinner.  My mom made it home in time for dinner and the girls had lots of fun hanging out with my mom and dad.  It was a really relaxing day but it just seemed like a normal Sunday not like Easter.

Happy 4th Birthday Kiley Maureen

I can't believe that my Kiley Maureen is 4 years old now :(  I can't believe that this time next year I will be signing her up for Kindergarten.

We celebrated Kiley with an owl themed party and some of our closest friends and family.  We are truly blessed to have so many people who love us and our little girls so much.

Kiley, you make us laugh every day and have one of the biggest hearts.

Your smile lights up a room and you say some of the cutest things.  My favorite thing you are saying right now is easy peasy!

Your sister is one of your best friends but you sure do know how to get under her skin and I'm pretty sure you do it on purpose.

You have so much energy!  I wish you would share that energy with me.  You still don't like taking naps, this hasn't changed since you were about 4 months old.  We no longer even try to make you nap.  Even with no naps you are still always happy :)

You are wrapped around your Daddy's little finger and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have it any other way.

You are such a good eater but your favorite food is chicken nuggets and mac-n-cheese

You make my heart smile and I'm so thankful that you completed our family 4 years ago.

I'm excited to see the person you will be when you grow up.  I already know you will be full of life and strong willed as an adult.
