Big news to share

So I'm a little late with this news but Kiley has something exciting to share, she has 2 teeth!!!! I noticed the first tooth on June 15 and exactly 1 week later I saw the second tooth!!! They are both on the bottom and she handled them like a champ. I didn't even know she was teething, no fever, no runny nose, she wasn't real fussy. I hope all her teeth come in as well as the first 2 but we will see. Right now she has a runny nose and has been a little fussy, so it only make me wonder if she is trying to cut her top teeth. I don't have any pictures of her new accessories but as soon as I get one I'll be sure to post it!!!!

Start your Engines

This weekend Chris, Natalie, Josh and myself went here...

Yep to the Brickyard, BUT this is how we got there...

Holy cow we took a HELICOPTER!!!! I know a helicopter!!! Oh how much fun it was. We dropped the girls off at my moms around 9:30 Sunday morning and my mom said "your dad is trying to get you guys on the helicopter, don't tell Nat" Well when Natalie and Josh got to my moms I told Natalie because she has a little fear of flying, so I wanted her to have as much time as she could to prepare for take off!! And she flew like a champ, except for right before we took off when she said " I think I'm gonna puke!" Thank you so much Dad for a great way to get to the track.

I had so much fun at the track this year, and we even joined in on the tradition of "kissing the bricks"

I tried to get a picture of some soliders kissing the bricks but instead I got this...

And for anyone who cares Jimmie Johnson won the race again this year! We had a great time I hope to do it again next year! Maybe we won't be able to pull off a helicopter again but hey, a girl can wish can't she!! Thanks again Dad.

And yes I did just do a post that was all about ME AND CHRIS!! No Hailey and Kiley, now I don't really think it is fair to not put pics on here of the girls so here ya go...

Movin' on up...

Monday marked another sad milestone for me, Hailey moved up to the blue room ( 3 year old class) Every year around this time I look forward to the fact that my daycare cost is going to go down a little but I also get very sad because that means my baby girl is growing up. Hailey had 2 of the best teachers I could ever ask for in the green room ( 2's class) and she became very attached to Ms Heather. I know this transition of a new class room and 2 new teachers is going to be hard for Hailey, I just hope it doesn't take very long. Hailey has been crying when I drop her off, they tell me it only last for about 2 minutes but its so hard on me. I never knew when I became a mommy so many things could make me hurt and so many things could make me happy. Walking out on my baby screaming "I want my mommy" is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I keep reminding myself that she is fine and forgets all about me and starts playing with her friends :) Sometimes I think Hailey changing rooms is harder on me then it is on her and just to think I have to do this again in January with Kiley. Its so hard to believe my baby is in the 3's room!

My 4 days off...

I had Thursday and Friday off from work since my parents were on vacation, I was really looking forward to being off and relaxing-ha. Relaxing was not on my to do list, we were on the run but having FUN!!

Thursday we got up when Chris went to work, made biscuits for breakfast, fed Kiley, took showers and headed out the door to 1 of 2 Dr's appointments for Kiley. First on the list was the ENT. She had to have her check up from her surgery and everything looks just great. This was the first time we had gone to the Dr and weren't told Kiley had an ear infection-YAY!!! Then it was off to the pediatrician for her 6 month check up, that's right my little angel is 6 months so hard to believe! Kiley is growing just perfect, she weights 16 1/2 lbs and is 26 1/2 in long. We got the go ahead to start her on stage 2 foods, she is loving them! She now gets to have things like sweet potatoes and turkey or bananas and strawberries both of those she really enjoys. And of course we couldn't get out of the appt without getting shots :(

Friday the girls and I got up again when Chris went to work, we ate breakfast and then headed out to meet Kate, Mia and Marley. We went over to Kate parents house so all the kids could get together and swim

Hailey had lots of first when we were there, she pedaled a bike all by herself for the very first time and she also washed a car for the first time. Hailey had so much fun playing with all of Kate's niece and nephews, thanks for letting us tag along Kate!!

Saturday was such a FUN day! Chris and I got Natalie to babysit the girls for us in the morning and we went on the MDA motorcycle ride. I haven't been on a bike since I found out I was preggers with Hailey over 3 years ago!!! It was so much fun to be on a bike again and just hang out with my hubby, mom and dad and NO KIDS!!!! I didn't have my camera with me so I don't have any pics but I had a BLAST!!! Saturday night we went to the Hendricks County Fair, the weather was perfect for the fair it was only about 67!

Hailey had so much fun riding rides and eating junk food!

We had such a great time I can't wait to go again next year! Hailey was very tired when we left and needed a stroller ride, I think a sit-n-stand stroller is in our very near future! Of course Kiley doesn't mind sharing her stroller because that just means she gets to be held :)

Sunday was Ava's birthday party. Ava is a friend of Hailey's from gymnastics. It was suppose to be a pool party but the weather surprised us all again and it felt like fall!

We finished our weekend off with dinner at my parents house!! What a great exhausting weekend we have, I'm looking forward to next weekend so maybe I can relax-ha!

4th of July Weekend

The girls and I started our 4th of July weekend off by going to the Children's Museum with Kate, Mia and Marley. The morning started out pretty funny, Kate got to our house and I asked her do you know how to get there? Kate's response "No, do you" So off we went to the Children's Museum with different directions from Cory and Chris. I'm happy to say we made it there and back with out getting lost!!! The kids had so much fun running around and just being kids! By the end of the day Hailey came up to me and said "mommy my feet hurt, my shoes are hurting" but really she was just tired of walking and ready for a stroller ride. I can't wait to take Hailey back she loved it.

When we got home I put Hailey down for a nap and starting making dirt pudding so we could go to my parents for a pre-4th celebration. I couldn't make dirt pudding without letting Kiley enjoy her very first oreo!!!!

Then it was off to my parents for some pre-4th celebration just in case it rained on the 4th

The 4th was pretty much a wash out, but nothing that stopped the boys from having fun!

Happy first 4th of July Kiley, Cole and Keira!!!!

It may have rained but it didn't stop the boys from trying to blow up Marley's Gi Joe. It took the boys about 25 attempts before they got him airborne and then finally they got him to melt in half. A VICTORY for them!!!!!

We had a great 4th of July weekend and are looking forward to it next year. The 4th is Chris' favorite holiday! I hope you all had a great and safe 4th

I have some many cute pics from the 4th I just have to post some more...And don't worry none of the kids really drank beer, it was just for the picture!

We ended our weekend with a great summer meal of ribs, mac-n-cheese and corn on the cob, on the deck with Chris' dad and Michael. What a great family filled weekend we had, can't wait until next year!!!
