Going Private

So I have been thinking and thinking about making my blog private for no other reason then to protect my girls. Well the decision has been made and I will be making my blog private in about a week or so. Please Please let me know if you read my blog and want to continue...Mom don't worry I got ya covered! I know there are a handful of people out there who read about our boring life and I love sharing it with you guys. Leave me your email and I will add you to the list of allowed readers :)

Christmas 2010

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas this year! Both the girls are at such a fun age and we were surrounded by tons of family. On Christmas Eve we headed to my parents house around 1 o'clock for lunch and presents. We left there around 6 o'clock to head to Chris' grandparents house for some more Christmas fun. We got home around midnight and Santa still had to come! Santa sure has one exhausting job :)

Chris and I woke up at 7:45 Christmas morning, why in the world did we wake up before the kids? Kiley woke up around 8:15 and Hailey was up about 8:30. Hailey was so stinking cute when she came downstairs, she turned the corner and said "Santa came! Santa really came! Did you guys see Santa?"

After the crazyness of gifts my parents and Chris' brother came over for breakfast. Chris made egg suffle, sausage, cinnamon rolls, hash browns, and mixed fresh fruit. It was all so good!!!

We visitied and played with all the girls new toys then headed to another Christmas get together around 4 o'clock! We had a wonderful Christmas, we are truly blessed with all we have been given. Happy Birthday Jesus!!

Visiting Santa

HA HA HA is all I can say about our visit to Santa! Kiley did exactly what I thought she would do...SCREAM the whole time :) I'm sorry but I think it was pretty funny. Hailey on the other hand sat on Santa's lap like they were good friends and she gave him her list of wants!

Letters to Santa

On Sunday the girls made a wish list and colored a picture for Santa. I love watching Hailey get so excited about her wish list. This year her list went on and on and on :) We have special envelopes we put the letters in and we hang them on the front door for Santa's elves to come and pick up. The elves usually leave a letter for the girls from Santa. I love this time of year and making all of these wonderful memories!

Thanksgiving 2010

Well since we are almost to Christmas I thought I better post about Thanksgiving :)

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We woke up had breakfast and watched the parade. Hailey is really getting into the parades and I can't wait to watch the Disney parade on Christmas morning!

We headed to my mom and dad's after the girls nap and we had a great meal full of turkey, stuffing, mac-n-cheese, baked beans, green beans, corn, deviled eggs, apple sauce, yams, I'm sure I am leaving things out but it was ALL so yummy.

After we let the food settle in are bellies we planned our attack for black Friday, the best holiday of the year! This year my sister-n-law and I went in with a different strategy...go shopping at midnight :) So we shopped from midnight until 7:30 in the morning!! Yes we are crazy but had TONS of fun and got all our shopping done.
