Cinderella

We went to Beef and Boards to see the play Cinderella over the weekend.  It was really cute and the girls enjoyed it, even though Kiley told me she didn't like it.  It was a fun girl day.  The tables had juice and rice krispy treats for the kiddos.  The play only lasted about an hour and a half and that was a perfect amount of time.  It is something I want to do again with the girls.

Pickin Pumpkins!!!

We usually get pumpkins every year at Beasley's but this year Chris was out of town for work so we went back to Anderson Orchard this past weekend to pick the perfect pumpkins.  It was such a gorgeous day, if felt more like spring then the end of October.

 The girls wanted to play on the swing set when we first got there and then we went to pick out their pumpkins.  Picking the perfect pumpkin is not an easy task for Hailey aka OCD :)  She picked out about 10 different ones that she just loved but we thought were to big so then she got her 6 year old attitude and told us "you are saying no to everything I like, I just want a really big pumpkin"  Gotta love the attitude!

She settled for a medium pumpkin and Kiley wanted one that she could carry.  After our pumpkin adventure we got an elephant ear, fried biscuits with apple butter and apple sider slushies.  We ate in our car because the bees were in full force!

After eating we went out into the orchard to take some pictures and just play.  The girls had a great time kicking the yucky apples that were on the ground.

Beasley's Apple Fest

There are never to many apple fest to attend during the fall.  This weekend we headed to Beasley's Orchard!  We started a tradition years ago of going to Beasley's with Tom and Kelli.  When we first started going Hailey wasn't even walking and the 3 stooges didn't exist.

This year was a little different because Chris was in Denver for work.  This weekend was the GABF awards and Sun King had entered 10 categories and won 2 medals, 1 gold and 1 silver.  That's pretty darn good :)  Anyways, Hailey had her last game today so we dropped Kiley off to Kelli so she could enjoy the pumpkin fun and Hailey and I got there after everyone but we still had lots of fun!

Hailey and I didn't make it out to the pumpkin patch because it was going to take 30 min, so we played in the inflatables and waited for everyone else.  While waiting Hailey spotted her BFF from school Kaylee and they ran around having lots of fun!
