A wet ride

A guy at Chris' work bought this new motorcycle called a Ural, it is an old Russian bike that has a side car. Chris brought it home from work one night because he thought the girls would love to go for a ride in it. Well Kiley wanted nothing to do with it, big surprise! Hailey on the other hand LOVED it!!!
Chris and Hailey pull out of the driveway to go on their nice little motorcycle ride and Kiley and I are hanging out in the driveway. Kiley turns to me and says "what that on my arm? that rain??" She didn't get the word rain out of her mouth and it started to down pour! I couldn't do anything but start laughing because Chris and Hailey are going around the block on the motorcycle. A few short minutes later Chris and Hailey come around the corner. Hailey's pony tail was flying in the air and she was as close to the windshield as she could be but still with a HUGE smile on her face!

Trophies!!!!

Every year at the end of the summer session at gymnastics they give out trophies. The trophies are based on how many years you have been doing gymnastics and the kids all get very excited to receive theirs. This year we used Kiley's trophy as a bribe so she wouldn't act up in class :)

I can't believe all the things Kiley has learned in this class. She has mastered her forward roll, holding herself up on the bar and making a "W" and "L" while hanging on the bar. I think gymnastics is such a good class for my girls to be in, they are learning lots of coordination and strength!

Kiley was the first in her class to get her trophy and she was SO proud of herself. She walked up the steps, received her trophy and just beamed with pride! I was also beaming with pride! The cutest part of all of it was when she looked at her trophy then looked at me and said "me take it home!?!?!"

A few days later it was Hailey's turn to receive her trophy! This is Hailey's 3rd year in gymnastics but we did take about a year or so off. Hailey was the last in her class to get her trophy because she is the one who has taken gymnastics the longest. She waited so patiently while everyone else got their trophies but you could tell she couldn't wait for her name to be called.

Hailey was also beaming with pride as she received her trophy, after she got it she ran to me and said "look how big it is!!!" and honestly her trophy is really big! I'm very proud at all the progress she has made this year in class, her teacher even said she is ready to move up to the next class which is 5-7 year olds.

I'm very proud of both of my baby girls!
