Mommy, Kiley, Mamaw day!

On Monday May 13 one of my Drs were out of the office so I decided this was a great day to take off!  After I took the day off I was praying the weather would be nice so I could spend the day with my Mom and Mo at the zoo!

Thankfully Mother Nature cooperated and we had a very enjoyable day!  The girls were able to sleep in because I didn't have to drop them off at the sitter.  I woke Hailey up at 7:30 and she enjoyed some cartoons and cinnamon rolls before I took her down to the bus stop.  Kiley slept until 8:45 which she NEVER does but I was glad she had lots of rest because we had a busy day ahead of us!

We went to Hailey's school to have lunch with her and Kiley thought she was big stuff.  It was such a bitter sweet moment for me when I looked over at both of them sitting at an elementary lunch table knowing that in 1 year they would both be doing that everyday :( When Kiley and I were walking to the car she said "Mommy, that was actually a lot of fun" :)

After lunch we headed to my mom's to pick her up for the zoo!  We had a blast at the zoo :)  The weather was cool for May and ALL the animals were out.  We first got there and looked at the seals and polar bear, Kiley liked them but was on a mission to see the monkey's.  We also watched the dolphin show which Kiley was a big fan of.  After the dolphin show we walked around to see more animals and then she wanted to go back to see her favorite...the polar bear :)

We had a great day and I enjoyed spending some time with just her.  It so fun to have one on one time with the girls.  They act so different when they are separated.  Hailey and my mom are having a zoo date soon when my mom gets to go on Hailey's field trip.

We are so lucky Mamaw can do things like this because it's hard for me to get time off of work!

Happy Mother's Day

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!  I'm so thankful I get to celebrate Mother's Day because of my two little princess.  I also feel very lucky that I get to celebrate my mom!  She has been an amazing example of what kind of mom I want to be to my little girls.  Even at 30 years old my mom is still teaching me new things daily and I'm so thankful for her.

This little girl keeps Chris and I on our toes!  She is such a funny little girl who loves to get under her big sisters skin :)
And this little girl has the biggest heart ever!  She is a joy to be around and is always wanting to help people and make them feel loved.
This Mother's Day was a little different just like Easter this year.  This is the first year that Tommy was in Texas :( So it was just my mom and dad and Kelli and the twins over for Mother's Day cook out.
The kids had so much fun playing together.  The weather was cold but it didn't stop these crazy 4 kiddos from having lots of fun outside!
We were hoping to spend Mother's Day in the pool this year, instead it was spent in jeans and sweatshirts.
I love my Momma SO much!!!
This is the best I could do of getting all the kids to stop playing and look at the camera :)
Spoiling Mamaw with present to put by the pool

Mother's Day sure did wear them out

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day and enjoyed time with family and celebrating all the Mother's they know.  I'm surrounded by so many great friends and family who are mothers and I love that I can get such great advice from all of them and walk through this crazy journey of motherhood with them!

Elite Showcase

In February the girls started taking cheer/tumbling classes at a place in Clayton called Elite.  It was different then Hoosier because this was more tumbling and cheer classes and not learning the bars and beams and different things like that.

The girls LOVE it.  The coaches are high school girls and work so well with the young kids.  Kiley's coach had tons of patience, her class was age 2-6 bless her heart!

Instead of having a recital or nothing at all Elite puts on what they call a showcase.  It was a 30 minute show and about 10 classes performed there routine.  It was so cute and prefect in length :)  Unlike Hailey's very 1st dance recital that took about 5 hours.

Of course the girls looked SUPER cute :)
