3rd Birthday party

We celebrated Kiley's party on January 14, I always try to have her party the weekend after her birthday just to have a few extra days to recover from the holidays :)

This year Kiley wanted to have a caterpillar birthday or "snakes" as she calls them. Kiley isn't a fan of cake so my neighbor (eek! old neighbor) made her cookies! The cookies tasted as good as they looked. Ketina always does an awesome job with everything she makes.

Our family and friends all came to our house to celebrate our beautiful little girls day! We are truly blessed with amazing family and friends who love our girls so much. We are so thankful for those who surround us! We ate lots of yummy food, chatted, opened presents and stuffed our faces with cookies and ice cream-what a GREAT day!!!!

Thank you everyone who helped spoil our little Kiley-Mo!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday

January 6, 2012 my baby girl turned 3 years old :( How in the world is that possible?!?!? I swear it was just yesterday that I was up every 2 hours feeding and changing diapers. It's so hard to believe Kiley is now a "kid" she doesn't qualify for the baby or toddler category anymore. *tear*

Ki-Mo's birthday was on a Friday, my mom picked up both girls around 2 from daycare and they went to Tom and Kelli's to have a little play date with Cole and Keira. When Chris and I got off of work we headed to my mom and dad's to have cupcakes, ice cream and do presents.

Kiley Maureen, you are such a joy to our life! You keep us on our toes and are full of life and energy. You made our family complete and we couldn't feel more blessed that God gave us you as our daughter. We love you to the moon and back!

Christmas 2011

I just wasn't really feeling Christmas this year, it seems to have snuck up on me and with moving into the new house the first weekend of December my mind just seemed to be elsewhere. Even not really being in the Christmas spirit we still had a GREAT holiday!!

We spent Christmas Eve afternoon with my family and then headed to Chris' family that night. We couldn't head to the Hansen Christmas until we made a quick stop at the hospital to get Hailey a strep test. :( Hailey woke up Christmas Eve complaining of a headache but nothing else, I gave her some Tylenol and we got ready for our fun day. When we were at my parents Hailey was acting very sleepy and not playing much but when it came time for presents she was acting just fine. It wasn't until we were getting ready to leave at 5:30 that she told me her throat hurt and sure enough when I looked in her throat it was covered in white spots. All urgent care places were closed so we called the on-call Dr who told us to make a quick stop at the ER for a strep test. After we got the positive results we stopped at the pharmacy and went to Hansen Christmas.

The girls were spoiled by all of our family on Christmas Eve but of course the spoiling didn't stop there because Santa still had to visit! The girls woke up around 8:00 am on Christmas and ripped right into the presents. After presents my parents came over for a great breakfast and then the girls wanted to head outside to play on their new power wheel. I was so glad it was nice outside on Christmas so they could go ride the power wheel and their new scooters. After a few minutes of being outside we came in and cuddled on the couch and watched the Disney Parade and fell asleep, we didn't have any place we had to be on Christmas so we stayed in our jammies all day, it was GREAT!!!

Cookie Madness

This year we did cookie madness 2011! My mom, Kate, Mia and Marley came over to help make cookies for Santa and do some crafts the Friday before Christmas. We planned this day with short notice and Kelli got sick so her and the twins didn't make it but it was still lots of fun. Next year we are going to plan this day a lot better.
