Day 6

Day 6 of our vacation was a sad day because we knew the next day bright and early we would be on our way back home :(  I never wanted to leave Disney :(

We slept in again this day and brought breakfast back to our room.  We ate our breakfast and then started packing our bags to go home in the morning.  After packing we took showers and got ready for our fun filled evening of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party.

Before heading to Mickey's Christmas party we stopped at a restaurant in our hotel for a late lunch and then the girls got some very special surprises.  Hailey had been eyeing a charm bracelet from the very first day of Disney.  So on this day her dream came true and she got her charm bracelet and Kiley got a very pretty Minnie Mouse bracelet.

 After eating lunch we headed to The Grand Floridian Resort.  I was pretty excited to go visit this resort.  I had watched a show on the travel channel and it was all about how they decorate this resort at Christmas time.  I knew it would be amazing and seeing it in person didn't disappoint.  The gingerbread house at this resort is made from real cookies, I LOVED it!!!

At 4:00 pm we were able to get into the Magic Kingdom again for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  I had read so much about this online that I couldn't wait for it.  This was an event that you had to buy a special ticket for, the party was 7:00pm to midnight but you could enter the park at 4:00pm.  When you entered you were given a special wristband and then the fun could begin.  We rode lots of rides and again didn't wait in a line that was longer then 15 minutes.  Our special wrist band gave us access to all the cookies and hot chocolate we wanted.

We watched an amazing firework show and saw the coolest light show on the castle.  The castle tuned into a Christmas tree and they showed clips of movies on the castle, words can't describe how neat it was.  After fireworks we found a spot on main street to watch the Christmas parade.  We ended our night riding the roller coaster Thunder Mountain.  I'm pretty sure Thunder Mountain was Hailey's favorite ride we rode it three times this night.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was a great way to end our trip to Disney.  I was so sad to come home because we had such a wonderful vacation.  The girls behaved so well, we never had one melt down.  They were such troopers during all of our long days at the park.  They never begged for every toy we walked by and they were perfectly content knowing they could only spend the money on their gift cards.  Every time I looked at my babies they had a smile on their face.  I can't wait to go back and I'm already planning for sometime in 2015 :)

Day 5 of Disney

Our 5th day started bright and early because we were heading to Hollywood Studios!!  We had so much fun at Hollywood Studios.  We rode lots of rides, watched a parade, ate lunch with characters from Disney Jr, enjoyed ice cream and finished our night with over a million Christmas lights that danced to music and we tried to catch snow on our tongue :)  The Osborne Family Spectacular was amazing.  Never in my life have I ever seen so many Christmas lights in one place and look so pretty!  I could have stayed there for hours just looking around.
