Happy 5th Anniversary

5 years ago today Chris and I said I DO!!!! I wish I had pictures on my computer of our wedding day so I could post some but our old computer crashed and my pictures from 2005 crashed with it!!

Our wedding was PERFECT! It had rained the morning of our wedding but had stopped by the time I headed to the church around 11:30 after the ceremony it was still nice out so we could get pictures taken outside at a park. That was really the only thing I wanted on my wedding day, pictures outside :)

5 years later things sure are different. We celebrated our anniversary with Chris taking Kiley to the Dr because she had a really high fever last night that we couldn't get to go under 100. She only sleep off and on for about 4 hours during the night, she was tossing and turning and crying. In the morning I took her to my mom's before I went to work and she was acting like her throat was hurting her, so I called the Dr and they go her in around 3:30. I was sure Chris and I would be eating fast food for dinner and attending to our baby girl. I called my mom around lunch time and she said Kiley was acting lots better, no fever and she was eating a little. Chris called me around 3 when he was on the way to the Dr and said Dr Henderson is gonna think I'm crazy for bringing her in, she is acting FINE!!! Her strep test was negative but she does have blisters on the back of her throat and she was acting just fine so Chris and I were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner.

We went to a restaurant on the north side called Sullivan's, its a steak house and it is OH SO GOOD!!! We had an appetizer of steakhouse egg rolls...delicious, then I had an iceberg lettuce wedges with blue cheese dressing and Chris had a lobster bisque. For our entree we both got steak of course and you order your sides as a family order, we decided on asparagus and 3 cheese white cheese mac-n-cheese. Because we were celebrating our 5th anniversary they gave us dessert for FREE, we got a chocolate souffle. I was so full after I ate my salad but it was so GOOD that I finished all of my meal. Well I brought half of my steak home and we brought home half of our sides. I told Chris he was going to have to roll me out of there.

It was such a nice dinner, the whole time we where there I just kept thinking "has it really been 5 years??" So much has changed in the last 5 years, we have 2 amazing daughters and our marriage is stronger then it has ever been! I love you so much hubby! What is really crazy is that we have been together for a total of 9 years!!! I can't wait to see what the next 5 years has in store for us!!!

15 month appointment

Is it really possible for my baby to be 15 months old!?!?! It is so hard for me to believe that almost 2 years ago I found out I was pregnant with Kiley.

I took Kiley to her 15 month check up yesterday and she is doing just GREAT!! She weights 24 lbs which is 69%, she is 31 inches long which is 76%, her head is still huge measuring at 19 inches which is the 96%...that's almost off the charts :)

Kiley doesn't like to go to the Dr at all, when they called us back I said come on Kiley its our turn and she sat down on the floor and started crying. So I picked her up and carried her to the exam room, she was still crying. The nurse did her weight, height and measured her head all while Kiley was still crying. When the nurse went out of the room Kiley stopped crying, it was like magic :) Then Dr Henderson came in and guess what...she was crying again. Through the whole appointment Kiley cried alligator tears and screamed like we were cutting her leg off. It was horrible and heart breaking and funny all at the same time. I had to start laughing just because Hailey NEVER acted like this at the Dr. I just can't get over how different my girls are! Kiley had to get 2 shots and have her finger stuck to check her iron. Her iron came back a little low so we have to give her iron supplements everyday and they will recheck her at her 18 month appointment. She seems to be growing right on track and her tubes are still looking good but working there way out.

Kiley Maureen you are a very out going full of life little girl. You do so many things that your big sister never did and it surprises me and your Daddy every time! Just last night you were trying to climb up the kitchen chairs, you have grabbed onto the stove and pulled your self up and now climb up the slide all by yourself. Some of your favorite things to do is run from us when we want to change your diaper or put your coat on. You say a few words like dog, ball, dadda, momma, paw paw, and mawmaw. You have started blowing kisses and tell us to SHHHHHH with you finger up to your lips :) I love this new path of mommy hood that you have given me and I thank God everyday for you.

First Dentist appointment

Hailey had her very first dentist appointment a few weeks ago and she did great!!! Chris took her to the dentist, I nominated him to do the dentist appointments with the girls and I'll do all the other appointments with them :) Hailey did great at her appointment, much to my surprise. I thought for sure she would be scared and not want to open her mouth but she did everything they asked of her and came out with NO CAVITIES!!!!
Its hard for me to believe that my baby is old enough to be going to the dentist. I remember asking them at what age they started seeing kids and they said 3. I thought man that is forever away, and here we are at 3 1/2...sigh :( I just want to stop my babies from growing!!!

Hailey and Kiley had so much fun coloring eggs this year! Hailey was a pro at it, she new exactly what to do. Kiley on the other hand not so much. My mom had Kiley sit on her lap and let her put an egg in the dye. Well then Kiley splashed it all over the place :) So then we thought it would be better to just give Kiley 1 egg and a crayon and let her color on it. When Kiley was bored with coloring her egg she started peeling it...crazy kid!

All the pretty eggs

and of course Hailey had to eat one of her eggs!!!
Kiley looking at the egg that she peeled half of then we colored!

Easter 2010

We had a great Easter!! We woke up early and got ready for church, then when we came downstairs and the girls found that the Easter bunny hid there baskets and eggs.

It was so cute to watch Hailey, she was so excited with every egg that she found.
It was fun to watch Kiley get to join in on the Easter fun this year too!!!

After church we headed to Toms for a nice visit with him. The Easter bunny hid baskets for the girls there too!!

After Tom's we headed to my mom and dad for Easter dinner and another Easter egg hunt. The food was so yummy and the weather was perfect. It was a great day for all the kids to be outside playing. Whenever we get together with Mia and Marley we NEVER see Hailey. She is always following them around and I just love it!! I love that she is so close with them.

It is so hard to get a good picture of the girls together. I can never get them to both look at the camera

I hope your Easter was as wonderful as ours!!!
