Anderson Orchard

We headed to Anderson Orchard a few weeks ago for the annual Apple Fest.  It was a beautiful day, sunny and pretty warm for the end of September.

The girls really wanted to pick some apples because that is there favorite thing to do, seriously they can spend 4 hours picking apples off of a tree!  The apples weren't very good this year.  I'm guessing a frost in the spring and then desert like weather in Indiana and apples don't mix very well.  All the apples on the trees were bruised, soft and just plain YUCK!!  Luckily the girls settled for picking out a small pumpkin :)
