Children's Museum

Today was a yucky, cold, snowy, yucky and did I say yucky day! So we decided to make the best of it and go to the Children's Museum! Our yucky day turned into a GREAT day!
When we left the house to go to the museum I thought we might be crazy. I was pretty sure that it was gonna be packed because Jolly Days is going on. Much to my surprise it wasn't very busy at all, we were able to enjoy all 4 floors of the museum. Hailey and Kiley both loved the play-scape the most. In play-scape they have a sand and water area but also an area that is for 2 and younger which was nice for Kiley to get a break from the stroller for a little while.

Hailey even got a job working for Barbie! Today was the very first day for the Barbie exhibit, it was pretty neat for me because I used to be VERY into Barbies, Hailey hasn't got to that stage yet but I'm super excited for it!

I really wanted to start a tradition this year of always going to Jolly Days to ride the big slide. I can't wait to take both girls on it next year. I thought Hailey would ride next to Chris but she wanted to ride on his lap. I think she is afraid of slides because just a few months ago she fell on her head going down a curly slide! Jolly Days also has fake reindeer that you can brush and feed, a pond to go ice skating on, ice fishing and a igloo to play on, Santa is also there but we skipped him this time.

Of course we couldn't leave the museum without doing the carousel

And this picture is my favorite from the whole day, Hailey digging for dinosaur bones!
We bought a membership today so now we can go as much as we want for a year. I hope to go at least once a month but maybe more on these cold, snowy, yucky days!

We were there for a little over 4 hours with two little girls who had no nap, so as soon as we hit the car this is what happened
This is a post from before Christmas I just forgot to post it!!!
