Winter Wonderland Party

We celebrated Kiley's 2nd Birthday on January 15 with lots of family and friends. We did a "winter wonderland" theme I wanted everything to be snow flakes and look cold. Everything turned out great and Kiley's cake was AMAZING!!! We are very lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful friends and family, thanks everyone who helped us celebrate our baby girls 2nd birthday!!

Birthday Girl

How is it possible that my baby girl is 2 years old! I feel like I was just in the hospital with my 7 lb 10 oz little bundle of joy!!!

This past year has been such a fun year! Kiley had lots of first during her second year with us, we played in the snow for the first time, which she was not a fan of. Took our first family vacation as 4 to Florida. She went to the beach for the first time also, which again NOT a fan!

*when you are aggravated you say "ugh" its funny now but I'm sure it won't be so funny in a few years
*you have been sitting on the potty a lot lately and have even gone #2 on it :)
*you want to do everything yourself...put on your clothes, take off your own diaper, the list goes on and on. Anytime I say let get your coat on you respond with " NO! ME!"
*you are a great eater, you will try anything. if you don't like it you spit it out and say "yuck"
*you are saying lots of words, this just started within the last few months It seems like you went from not saying anything to speaking in sentences!

Kiley Maureen you bring so much joy to our life! You make us laugh with all the silly things you do and you melt my heart when you pucker up your lips for a kiss. I love watching you and your sister play together, you guys already have a sisterly bond.

I feel like you came into our lives just yesterday but I can't remember my life without you! I hope you have a wonderful 2nd birthday! I love you to the moon and back!

Going Private

So I have been thinking and thinking about making my blog private for no other reason then to protect my girls. Well the decision has been made and I will be making my blog private in about a week or so. Please Please let me know if you read my blog and want to continue...Mom don't worry I got ya covered! Christmas 2010

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas this year! Both the girls are at such a fun age and we were surrounded by tons of family. On Christmas Eve we headed to my parents house around 1 o'clock for lunch and presents. We left there around 6 o'clock to head to Chris' grandparents house for some more Christmas fun. We got home around midnight and Santa still had to come! Santa sure has one exhausting job :)

Chris and I woke up at 7:45 Christmas morning, why in the world did we wake up before the kids? Kiley woke up around 8:15 and Hailey was up about 8:30. Hailey was so stinking cute when she came downstairs, she turned the corner and said "Santa came! Santa really came! Did you guys see Santa?"

After the crazyness of gifts my parents and Chris' brother came over for breakfast. Chris made egg suffle, sausage, cinnamon rolls, hash browns, and mixed fresh fruit. It was all so good!!!

We visitied and played with all the girls new toys then headed to another Christmas get together around 4 o'clock! We had a wonderful Christmas, we are truly blessed with all we have been given. Happy Birthday Jesus!!
